ABOUT THE ARTWORK
I find the inspiration for my drawings in the elegant beauty of the movement of the shapes and curves of the female body. The power of the female silhouette to express different emotional states provoked me to focus on it and look to recreate those feelings through my work. Through the hyperbolization of the shapes I aim to draw the attention of the viewer to a specific emotional state of my characters. The materials I use are the classic graphic set – paper, cardboard, pencil and ink drawing pen. The different textures of cardboard and thicknesses of the pens allow me to create unique movements in the linear drawing that give life to my characters.

Born on 17 December 1972 in Plovdiv, Bulgaria. In 1998 graduates sculpture from the Faculty of visual arts of the Veliko Tarnovo University St.St Cyrill and Methodius. Eva specializes in park and garden sculpture in stone. Her works are exhibited in public spaces in Plovdiv, Pazardzhik, Hisara, Tzarevo, Bratsigovo, as well as within the collection of the Union of Bulgarian Artists, the Plovdiv International Fair and other private and public collections in Bulgaria, Greece and Macedonia.
