This drawing is from my collection of fast figure sketches created in Hollywood, CA at Barnsdall Art Center. I love to work quickly to keep it fresh and instinctive. I wanted to capture the strength and relaxed nature of George. The abrupt scratchy lines are intended to portray the strength of the masculine form in a simple and direct manner.
