Carbon Reverie is a full-time tattoo artist and painter specializing in floral and ornamental tattoos, and symbolic paintings. A self-taught artist, she has worked professionally as a painter since 2014 and began tattooing in 2022, bringing a deeply developed artistic foundation into her tattoo practice.
Reverie is a contemporary figurative painter whose symbolic works draw on comparative theology and anthropology to investigate the visual languages of sacred experience across cultures. Through painting and tattooing, she explores the human figure as a site where symbolism, ritual, and cultural memory intersect.
Rather than subscribing to a single belief system, she investigates these traditions as expressions of human experience, exploring the universal questions that shape identity, consciousness, and humanity's relationship to the unknown.
