Contact us.I am Daxalma, a multidisciplinary artist.
I hold a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from the Complutense University of Madrid. I am an expert in the design and installation of contemporary art exhibitions, and a certified seawater advocate.
For many years, I worked as a teacher. This allowed me to refine and delve deeper into all painting techniques and styles so that I could teach them.
My works in water-based techniques are characterized by the use of seawater, with the aim of enhancing the artwork with its energy and properties.
I was born on June 22, 1969, in Madrid. I am the daughter of Dr. José Jorge Pérez Feliu, a professor of Spanish language, and María Nieves Rubiato Díaz. Thanks to them, I grew up in an environment conducive to developing my gift for painting. And the memory of my mother’s sewing machine led me to experiment with my designs on fabric and create fashion. In March 2004, I won the award for best set design at the Brunete theater competition. My main work as a gallery painter takes place in Mexico, in San José, Baja California Sur.
I have also created several murals for private clients and restaurants. I’ve done set design for luxury hotels to promote weddings. And I’ve created countless works using recycled materials.
And in 2017, at Circulo Vitoriano (Vitoria-Gasteiz), I held the first exhibition of my Museum Collection.
