About The Artwork
I drew this American Eagle after I drew the Phoenix Rising when we came back from NYC ground zero. There was a poster board down the walk at the end coming from ground zero. It had peace signs, flowers, a soldiers helmet and different various memorials left. I remember most that the colors the poster board was made up of the colors of the flag, our flag, Red, White and Blue. So I drew our Bird of Prey a symbol of Our Country and Patriotism to have the stars and stripes as all the Emergency Workers and Officers who gave their life that day to help the others who they swore to protect which came with such a high cost to us all. We will not forget.

This is a God Given Gift. I am disabled due to a spinal cord injury in a MVA and I am selling my artwork as a way to supplement my disability income of $800.00 a month, that is before they take out my Medicare insurance which is a joke and useless but costs me 128.00 a month. So what is left over is what they expect me to live on a month. Due to my age I had just started to pay in on social security. I was placed on disability against my wishes by a judge who ended my ability to work by ordering permanent total disability. I was in my 30s when the car accident almost severed my spinal cord. I had emergency surgery and my work career ended.
