One Fine Moment (Extinction Series) Drawing

Extinction evokes horror, struggle and death. Yet there is also a peace at the end that we forget at the end of a life, as life stops in time and begins living in eternity. The Extinction Series juxtaposes the dark terror of death and the brilliance of eternity as the audience is invited to reflect on the darkness and brightness of the shiny saturated surface. "One Fine Moment" depicts a brief sliver of time where one is lost in the brilliance of reflection. It cannot be retrieved or explain, a moment is all we have of peace and perfection. While it cannot again be recreated, we have at least lived that one fine moment.
