About The Artwork
A loving couple sharing a moment of sweetness, intertwined in a magical forest of flame red hibiscus. Second in the "Sacred Love" series - a visual celebration of the magic, power & healing of sensuality and love; a return to that fairytale-like moment of sweetness and connection that can be experienced, no matter how fleetingly, in romantic relationships. As with the other pieces in the series, the figures and backgrounds are not depicted realistically, but rather are stylized to seek to capture or evoke a feeling or emotion. As such, I like to think of my work as "visual poetry".
