About The Artwork
I drive passed this old chapel made up of red corrugated tins on the roof and green tins for the walls, every year, somewhere on the way to the Three Counties Agricultural Show in Malvern. Every year it’s a bit more delapidated and close to collapse and I wonder if it’s still going to be there next year. So last year I stopped and took some photos. I parked on the wild Common and the sky was ominous dark blue. Gloucestershire has a number of these tin chapels that have survived in quiet villages.

I live on the family smallholding in the Forest of Dean, Gloucestershire, England. We farm sheep now, but used to have cattle, pigs, horses, ducks, geese, turkeys, goats etc too.
