Walking Nude 03 Drawing

INSPIRATION Inspired by the Persian Poet who wrote “I wish I could show you, when you are lonely or in darkness, the astonishing light of your own being”, this collection attempts to capture what it means to walk through this world ‘mutually alone’. ‘Walking Nude 03’ is part of series titled ‘Human to Human’; a collection of simple, expressive, dry media works that depict the human figure. HANDLING Please note, this artwork is fragile; it has been drawn on newsprint paper, therefore care should be taken when handling the work. PROCESS This drawing has been made with both hands, without looking. Through drawing, I aim to capture the spirit of the people I see. Using charcoal, and ink, I work quickly to capture the essence of the models expression and emotion. PACKAGING The original drawing will arrive rolled up in sturdy cardboard tubes and securely taped up for delivery. Multiple poster orders will be packaged in the same cardboard tube with protective sheets between drawings, unless otherwise requested. FLATTENING INFO Drawings will sometimes stay rolled after they have been delivered. Do not attempt to flatten out a poster by rolling it back on itself as this will result in damage and creasing. The best way to flatten a drawing is to lay it on a flat surface, laying a protective sheet above, place a few heavy items on top (such as books) and leave for a day or so.
