ABOUT THE ARTWORK
This is an original coloured-pencil drawing on paper. I like to create contrasts in my work of light against dark. The white peacock against the dark stormy sky makes a nice balance and pleases the eye. I chose coloured-pencil as the medium as I enjoy mixing together lots of different colours to create different greens. A garden scene and storm clouds are the perfect subject matter for this medium.
