this is a drawing i made almost entirely in front of the station in paris; i was lucky to be able to sit at a table in a cafe just oppposite this station,so that i could draw for several hours in total comfort; i often like to go out into the city with with drawing materials, and hugely enjoy this practice,as it makes me feel awake and present to my surroundings; and as such i hope that the viewers will also be attracted to this scene and the mood that seems to emanate from it. the drawing is precise and true to life, i invite you to come and admire the real thing at metro "quai de la gare" in paris, france.
