Leho is a Uruguayan visual artist, activist, and curator currently based in Paris. His works have been exhibited in Uruguay, Brazil, Spain, Argentina, and France. He describes himself as immersed in what he calls "marica and sudaka art," which is a Latin American vision of queer decolonial art. His artistic practice dialogues with painting, illustration, video art, animation, digital art, and installation. His works are strongly influenced by contemporary Japanese art, American pop art, and comics. He studied Bachelor of Communication at the University of the Republic. From 2004 to the present day, he has also developed a career in the Uruguayan and international markets as an art director in the fields of cinema and advertising, and began making films in 2009. Combining his career in audiovisual media and communication with art and activism, he has created and developed graphic and audiovisual public interest campaigns focused on the LGBT+ community and migrants for the Ministry of Social Development in 2019, the government of the city of Montevideo, the Ibero-American Institute of Human Rights, and the United Nations Population Fund. In 2018, he was responsible for the graphic identity and communication strategy of the "National Campaign Comprehensive Law for Trans People" and created the design of yellow scarves, emblem of the social movement. He is co-founder of the L.A. Contracultural collective. As a cultural agent and exhibition curator, he is also part of Platform Plus in France and Outburst Americas with other professionals from Northern Ireland, Brazil, Argentina, and Jamaica. He was co-artistic director and curator of the International Semana de Arte Trans (Trans Art Week) festival in 2018 and 2019, being responsible for its internationalization. In 2019, he was invited to participate in the Art and Creation Trans Festival in Lyon and in 2021 (The festival created in France was inspired by and in direct relation to the work of Leho De Sosa and Delfina Martinez.), he was part of the curatorial team in Lyon and Paris. In April 2022, he participated in a cultural management residency at Antre Peaux, and in April 2022, with Lu Ehrlich from Uruguay and Maré de Matos from Brazil, he participated in the feminist literature festival Littera Grlzzz at Antre Peaux in Bourges. In October and November 2022, he was curator of the FACT - Festival Arts and Creation Trans in Lyon, inviting Latin American trans artists.
