Afuera, 2010 Installation

Afuera is a mixed-media work that intersects nature, architecture, material and performance. We understand material as something that offers possibilities to social progress. However, man-made material interrupts nature's course to flourish and provide its symbiotic gift(s) to humanity: shelter, shade, food, and peace. The change of climate demonstrates how far removed we have become to our relationship with the natural environment. This installation imagines an architectural design for a city. Additionally the pieces were removed from the installation and worn on the body. All images on my account are sold as Prints. All installation works are also available purchase. Recreation of installation can be negotiated and scheduled for private/public exhibition spaces.
