9 11 The Blue Agony Painting

Hello. My name is Radovan Lengyel and I am from Slovakia. Currently I live in Czech republic. I was born close to places where one of artists that influenced me a lot in the beginning originally comes from. The artist which I am talking about is Mr Andy Warhol. I am a painter, that is very interested in seeking something new in art and likes to connect the past and the future in my paintings. I came up with the idea to fuse the "old style" technique (oil) and material of the future (carbon fiber canvas) to create a new style called (by those who have seen my work) "the black paintings" or "the carbon paintings" It is unique not just due to specific luminous characteristics of the used canvas, but for the very sad true story that is behind it.
