About The Artwork
She calls the sea her playground. She feels more comfortable in the water than anywhere else. Ocean beats and tides make her sing and dream of new adventures. She is one brave little swimmer. This painting has a multitude of layers, built over time, by adding and erasing poured colour, by creating dancing movement of the sea. Gold metallic spray is added sparingly to emphasize the light. Texture built over time, by adding layers of gesso and calcium carbonate. The painting is sealed with a non-gloss acrylic sealer. Sides painted white. ready to hang. It is stunning in person, offering a depth of colour and detail.
