A Journey Filled With Hope Painting

Original acrylic painting with texture on 30x24" canvas, thin (.75") gallery wrap with painting around edges. Wired & ready to hang. Recently I was listening to a song called "Hope," and this is what came to me as two different images (this piece and the Freehand Drawing "A Journey Guided By The Ancestors"): A young warrior stops along his journey through the fields to kneel in the long grass with the long grass and strands of hair dancing in the gentle breeze as he receives a sign of hope from a sacred white bison. One must always hold on to hope, despite the challenges at hand. Perhaps you are fighting to reach your dreams, through health issues, financial strain, some other challenge, or perhaps many challenges all at once. But, we must not give up because we never know what is just around the corner. There is so much beauty around us every single moment, even when we can't see it because we are too distracted and bogged down by our troubles. No matter how overwhelmed we may be with our own challenges, we must realize what they really are. Instead of thinking of situations as good or bad, we should rather view them as stepping stones across the pond we call the journey of life. Sometimes we may stumble or even fall in the water, but it is from learning to pick ourselves back up again that we become stronger and each of these experiences are merely that, experiences that shape us into who we are and how we perceive all that is around us and help guide us along our path to our destinies. So, never give up and hold on to that hope, have faith you will succeed and overcome whatever the challenge may be, and don't stop to enjoy the beauty all around you. For once you have crossed enough stepping stones, you will reach your goals and dreams.
