About The Artwork
The multi-layering of acrylic granular, beaded and regular gels inspired me to let go and just have fun with texture. As the painting became more 3-dimensional, I let the surface evolve into shapes. Only after many attempt to decide what the final form should be, the last layer of paint intuitively surfaced into a profile of a man... as though he just came to me. Hence the title.
