Aphrodite and her Client Painting

I was ripped off in buying a property in Pafos, Cyprus. I found out after handing over my money, that the deeds would not be available for 20 years! I felt totally cheated, but managed to firstly rent the flat and then sell it on to another Briton who had several properties on the island. I had three years to repay the mortgage and would have had to sell my UK home had I not found a new buyer. Phew! Anyway, I had to express my feelings in paint and created this Aphrodite (Goddess of Love in Cyprus) and her client - an unsuspecting man victim. The style is not my usual one. I borrowed a style from Eric Gill's work. The original sold quickly at the Art in the City (Painter Stainers livery) exhibition the next year. I trust the buyer enjoys the work on her wall.
