About The Artwork
Apologies to the Bear is an acrylic painting on gallery wrapped canvas. A lone polar bear appears lost as she wanders through a colorful field of tall grass. She is clearly not where she is supposed to be, or maybe her environment is what is lost. Some day this is what the Arctic might look like. If it happens, we will be apologizing to all the polar bears. I have been concerned about climate change and other environmental issues for a long time and hope my artwork on this topics brings some awareness to people who see it.

I have painted since I was very young and always knew I wanted to be an artist. After college I moved to San Francisco, then back to Minnesota, and now I live in Atlanta, Georgia. I have been in many solo and group art shows along the way. Currently doing shows and art fairs in the Atlanta, GA area.
