I really enjoy painting plein-air landscapes, but it was a rainy day and I found this great looking apple at the market so I had to take it home and paint it. I hung a sheet on the wall and placed a square of canvas on a table, then I placed the apple on the canvas and painted it. It was a very enjoyable change of pace. This painting is framed and ready to hang, with hanging wire already installed. I've handmade the frame for this piece. The wood frame is stained and measures .25" wide and 1.5" deep.
