Apricots Painting

I painted this picture outdoors with my Plein Air painter friends from the River Ridge Artists Association. We spent the day in an orchard in an area north of Spokane known as Green Bluff. It's chock full of little truck farms and fruit farms, country stores and eateries. A destination place for folks in Spokane who like home grown produce, it's a Mecca for many like myself who miss those days long ago when we lived on farms. These apricots were still hard as rock and just beginning to turn from green to orange. Lynne Haines.
