Awaiting Painting

"Every painting is a voyage into a sacred harbour" Giotto di Bondone. For me painting is like a dance with beauty, it is like being able to hear singing of a soul. I believe that true art has a spiritual depth, its own mystery, life of its own. It is a poetry of sight. I draw my inspiration mainly from Japanese Art, Italian Renaissance and Vienner Secession. The most significant figure for me in art is undoubtedly Gustav Klimt whose paintings I absolutely adore. Creating art usually takes me a long time. I repaint my work numerous times in order to find the right melody, integrity and spiritual depth, the music in it I believe that a good art is "ever green" that is, we never get bored with looking at it. It will continue to amaze us and it will constantly attract our attention. I hope that viewers at Saatchi Art will get such a feeling when they look at my works.
