About The Artwork

From the APHORISTIC EXTINCTIONS Series. In Northern Thailand, I met a baby Elephant named King Mai. He had been rescued from fleeing his mother's blinding where he had ran in between two trees and had injured his shoulders. He epitomised the delicate nature of endangered species. But remained playful as he tickled my son, then eight years old.
