In high school, I didn't like Math class. Growing up, I was surprised to find myself intrigued by it – I've started learning on my own, and oddly enough, ended up solving mathematic and geometric equations for the joy of it. To me, math and art correspond naturally, and beautifully manifest as geometric abstraction. While most of my work is figurative, I find that my methodology in both genres is the same - while one might see the shapes as random, each one of these pieces is conceived if long and grave considerations of the perfect, harmonious composition of shapes and colors.

Art and music, that relentless hunger that lived inside me ever since I was a little girl. When I hear music, I visualize vivid scenes. Some of them, eventually, find their way to my canvas. But music isn't my only inspiration. The sight of a shadow on a wall, a line in a poem, or any other so-called mundane moment that happened to spark my imagination will leave me no choice but to pick up my brush and start painting. And as I travel between music genres – Led Zeppelin and Beethoven, Miles Davis and Leonard Cohen, so my style changes. The surreal, the cubist, the abstract and the still life, I touch them all and they all touch me. I work with a variety of mediums, such as oil and acrylic paints, pencils and many more. In addition, as part of my work as a graphic designer and as a learning environment designer, I often engage in digital painting as well. So, you see, I'm a multi-genre artist. I'm curious and eager to learn more and experiment with any new genre or media that I might stumble upon.
