ABOUT THE ARTWORK
"Our table always has bananas in various states of aging with a few ends cut off. The water bottle adds dimension as it reflects the bronze and copper wall panels in the background. This piece is dominated by the dramatic shadows the bananas cast."... the second painting on the back is of Edie Sedgwick, the protege of Andy Warhol. I reused the board and was unable to gesso over her image, so she hides on the back. The artwork is painted on archival board and framed in simple white wood with picture wire. Ready to hang. Potentially 2 pieces of artwork, can be turned around and displayed back side forward.
