About The Artwork

MEDIUM:Acrylic on Board FRAME: Hand crafted varnished charcoal YEAR: 2021 DIMENSIONS: 30x40 cm / 37x47 cm "If I could draw, then I would notice beauty like you" - Valeria Golovenkina often hears this phrase in her address. The purpose of this picture is to show that everything depends on you. You are the author of your life. A few years ago, Valeria started practicing two looks in the mirror. The first time is to remember its initial state. Then she moved away from the mirror, pretended that everything was fine with her, she was loved and important in this world and looked in the mirror again, imagining that she was seeing herself and the situation around for the first time. Such a surprised look, slightly raising his eyebrows. The state changed dramatically. Now it's your time to choose what you can and want in life. Look in the mirror! The charcoal frame is covered with yacht varnish. Valeria also used gold leaf and the mirror for this painting.

Shipping & Returns

Delivery Time:Typically 5-7 business days for domestic shipments, 10-14 business days for international shipments.

I'm a self-taught artist. My art carries what many people in big cities miss-the sun, the sea, the salty wind on their skin, the atmosphere of Mediterranean cities is relaxed and carefree, so the sea and water are the main subjects of my work. I am endlessly inspired by color and light, and the glare, contrast, and reflexes make my heart race. I remember a phrase my dad said to me: "Never lose your taste for life." I've been struggling with depression for several years and I want my paintings to help people cope with sadness and heavy emotions. I want to savor every bite, every emotion, every moment I've lived. This is what my marine art is about.
