Painting was made while my short stay in a bad neighborhood of Berlin. There was not too many objects for a painting and also it was better to stay at home in the evening. What can be inspiring in outskirts? Snow fell at 3 AM while everyone was sleeping, making usually grey district so beautifull now, but everything gone early at the morning. Not a single traces left. Snow covered streets is very rare in Berlin. I couldn't miss this chance. I was in a hurry there was too little time, but neon glow from telephone station was trully majectic. That's the reason why I used quick brush strokes and small size. It is the quintessence of that short but wonderfull night. Painting made with Acrylic & Oil on medium-density fiber (MDF Wood) board.

I am working as a Mural and Fresco artist. My Fine Art is in private collections in Netherland, Belgium, Swiss, S.Africa, USA, UK view to name. I try to capture fleeting moments and transient effects of light on canvas. You can usually see deep shadows or neon glows contrasting with the main object which makes the scene look alive, deep and mysterious. Where I can't create the necessary volume with paints I am using the applique technique but without over-decoration/saturation of short-living tendencies. It helps me to create multilayers in works.
