Ekaterina Shilko is a talented Russian artist of 34 years old, daughter of a retired military man. Born in eastern Russia. Mom of three children. At the age of 10, she firmly decided to connect her life with art. Engaged in oil painting since childhood in a private school. In 2000 she entered the Kuban State University. The first two courses she studied at the art-graphic faculty, then transferred to the faculty of architecture and design. In 2007 she received a diploma. Before finding her vocation and devoting herself entirely to painting, she successfully worked as an interior designer. Its main medium is oil. For the underpainting, Catherine almost always uses acrylic in the rub to unfold the canvas. And then, prescribes further layers of oil paints, enjoying and exploring the properties of this material.
