Candy Painting

I remember I just really had an urge to paint with markers, I was craving to make some art but I think I was too busy to whip out the paint and brushes and canvas and work on something big, so I decided that could of been fun to make a solid nice piece but fully with markers, well, only the background is acrylic ink. At the time I was working on another piece as well but that was more of an object and didn't consist paint almost at all, so I was missing actually painting something, and in a free time was like listening to some old skaters radio shows and painting this. But it actually turned out to be quite meditative and relaxing process, no pressure, no rush, just making some kiddish art for fun. Like art therapy. But it actually turned out to take way longer that I had expected, if you look close its pretty detailed piece, but I wanted to still make it without any heavy outlining, so that it would make the impression that these are real actual candies spread around like in a candy store. I think nailed it cause when I sent it to my friend he said: "cool, you glued a bunch of candies on the canvas and called it art?". Also you know sometimes you have some cravings but on a seasonal basis, like sometime you crave some particular snack for couple of weeks and then don't go back to it for a long time, for me at the time it was gummy bears, I was downing packs for a week or two, so decided to let it out on a painting and actually as I did, the craving went away. Lol. Price wise, so here is the thing, I wouldn't really put too hight price on it, but it's located in another country, so to sell it here I would need to go through the whole deal of double shipping and collecting documentation two times, so to make it fiscally make sense I would need to acknowledge those costs. But the scan is very good and for a piece like this a print could barely show any difference especially if framed. I'll put reasonable price on prints. Original-high quality paper Hahnemühle 350 gr
