ABOUT THE ARTWORK
There is the novel called Catch 22. Catch 22 is a war novel about soliders who fought in the 2nd world war written by American author Joseph Heller in 1961. John Yossarian, the main character wants to be free from the duty. But can't. Because of Catch-22. Later a "Catch-22" means "a problem for which the only solution is denied by a circumstance inherent in the problem or by a rule." My new art work series, Catch 22 got the inspiration from the book. After pandemic, many things were changed and re-defined. As artist, I went through the transformative time too . I wanted to be free from my duty but can't because of Catch-22. This artwork is the snapshot of my bumpy journey. Please enjoy as your trip! Thanks!
