About The Artwork

My artistic research I baptized "Synapses, roots and other connections" aims to investigate the expressive and poetic force of the matter. A matter which is throbbing of life, sculpted, and turns into a 'network connections' highly connective between art and surrounding environment, virtually encompassing the viewer and his consciousness with natural and artificial reality. "Chiral Phenomenon" of "Synapses, roots and other connections" live their timeless dimension, a spiritual dimension, pointing to timeless which transforms art in a "piece of life" and materializes spiritual and vital impulses, sublimating own emotions, changing them in powerful and enlightening connections to investigate the same life. This artwork is created with a carefully combined manufacturing of extra-fine materials used in sculpture to highlight the best three-dimensional and sculptural qualities. "Chiral Phenomenon" (2017) is an original encaustic painting by Gabriella Parisi. This painting is accompanied by a certificate of authenticity. N.B. The painting has some minor edge damage caused by third parties due to an incorrect packaging after an exhibition. P.S. This artwork is perfectly rectangular, any image distortions in the full size photo is due to inclination and closeness to my professional camera lens.

I'm a graduate of the Academy of Fine Arts in Rome and I've got the top grade with an experimental thesis focused on Studio Azzurro interactive art. Then I've got my masters in cinema and audiovisual art from the University of Rome Tor Vergata and in Medical imaging. In 2011, I've helped move along the Italian Game Art, mainly with my centerpiece “Over Game”, which was featured at Venice Biennale. I took part on over 50 international exhibitions and projects founded by private gallery, public Institutions and Museums like Venice Biennale, Triennale di Milano, Museo della Scienza e della Tecnologia Leonardo da Vinci di Milano, Lucca Center of Contemporary Art, PONG - Università degli Studi di Milano (PONG - Playlab for innovation in Games is a laboratory of Computer Science Department at Università degli Studi di Milano, it's a playlab aiming to bring innovation in games and in the way gaming devices are used), Accademia di Belle Arti di Roma, Museo de Almería and Universidad de Granada. My art is a work in progress to fix the impermanence of a physical, virtual and conceptual world in constant evolution, where all certainty and personal stability dissolve itself along the borders of new signs, unknowns and paradigms dictated by the technological unfolding. Influenced by the scientific imagery and ancient art, especially Greek and Roman art, my art is mind-boggling in its richness of detail, realized with elegant and elaborate forms full of brilliant colors. The dazzling array of Neuroscience images has emerged as a strong influence in my recent work. I've synthesized these experiences between art and science through my own background in contemporary art, developing an unique style with paintings and dizzyingly complex readymades. My artworks are part of many private and public collections internationally.
