About The Artwork
Climate change, global warming, whatever words you prefer, is real. Is it man made or partially man made, that is trivial at this stage. What is important is that we all change our behavior. We need to be sustainable. Instead of exploiting and consuming we need to do things tat improve our natural environment. We all have a responsibility, as individuals and as a community. One way I can have an effect is raise awareness. To make it visible. My subjects are iconic people / topics that have had an impact on me or our society. I used 23K gold leaf on this painting - it emits a very rich mellow buttery glow. The painting is signed on the back and has my “e” symbol on the front. The painting continues around the sides, so it is ready to hang unframed.
