About The Artwork

Consumer society size artwork: 60x80cm. (not framed) The painting portrays the dichotomy of a society driven by consumption, where individuals are both drawn in and repulsed by the never-ending cycle of acquiring and discarding goods. The dominant gray and pink tones symbolize the emptiness and artificiality of this lifestyle, while the bright green accents represent the promise of a more meaningful existence. The abstract composition conveys the disorienting and overwhelming nature of consumerism, with elements of chaos and uniformity vying for dominance. The use of oil paint adds depth and texture, further emphasizing the complexity and contradictions of a consumer society.
