ABOUT THE ARTWORK
This painting is part of the project "Man as a Hostage of the System" This project includes several oil paintings and graphic sheets. We live in an age of massive consumption, we become crazy about different things, advertising forces us to buy more and more, it often happens that we don't need these things. But our consciousness has already been formed in this consumption system. Of course, the main acute problem is precisely what consequences await us from such a production flow. I got the idea to express in such a looped tempo of the composition the whole stream of this consciousness. And the picture looks like a kind of pattern, repetition, conveying it as a loop, as a diagram. The painting is done in oil on canvas, created entirely according to my sketches. Hello, I'm an artist from Russia St. Petersburg. I graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts named Repin the faculty of painting, in a workshop under the leadership of Hamid Savkuev.
