About The Artwork
"Conveyance I" is the first in a series of six paintings I have made that evoke a state of transit. With "Conveyance I" there are many number of possibilities at play, when it comes to deciphering the image. My hope is that the viewer overlays their narrative and finds their own connection with the artwork. This painting has been inspired by the American abstract expressionism movement that included such artists as: Franz Kline, Willem de Kooning, Mark Rothko, Helen Frankenthaler and Agnes Martin.
