Seperate pictures merged to one new painting. Is it a picture someone reminds? Like a daydream. Or do we swipe our world without seeing what's real? For some part this was the living room of my grandmother. With photo's on the wall and her memories filling the room. Nothing bizarre outside is happening; it's all on the inside. The title of the painting is reverring to the band De Kift, a weird (but fantastic) band from Oost-Knollendam; not far from the window of my Grandmother (died in 1994 by the way)
