About The Artwork

The parable "The Illusion of Delights". A man fleeing death (a tiger) jumped into the well and grabbed the branches in the well. White and black mice (day and night (time)) gnaw on these branches. But it so happened that a beehive hung on a branch above the well, from which wild honey oozed and dripped into the well. The man appreciated the sweetness of honey and began to enjoy it without noticing the snake at the bottom of the well (hellish planets) and other animals. Being in the grip of dangers we try to enjoy the "drops of honey" instead of thinking how to free ourselves from this material bondage.
