Seeing all the Karen's behaving badly on the nightly news really got me thinking... Do the Karens really know that they are behaving badly or is it just their normal? If it's just their normal; what do you do about it without stooping to their level. Maybe it's as simple as disciplining your pet cat... squirting water seems to help without being mean:) Hopefully the bright colors, and the imagery of walking on water and being squirted with a hose shines a light on the laughable human condition that we all have to be a part of on the nightly news.

I like to use iconic fine art master-works juxtaposed with current popular culture imagery from advertising, comic books, logos, ect. to create social awareness in the times we live in. By splicing these contrasting images from different time periods, the subject matter takes on new impetus of preconscious intensity not found in simplistic or direct commentary art. I like to further entice my viewers with palatable compositions, textures, bright colors, and unexpected images. I received my BFA, Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree from San Francisco State University and had the amazing opportunity to study under both professor/working artist, Richard Mclean & Paul Pratchenko.
