About The Artwork

The main theme of my work is the expression of the illusory nature of the surrounding world. As a multimedia artist, I employ various genres and materials to convey the transience and ambiguity of our existence. I invite viewers of my art into a dialogue about their place in the world and how we perceive and interpret the reality around us. I convey the exploration of illusion and the multiple meanings of the world by playing with perception patterns and stereotypes, aiming to evoke doubt and reflection in the observer. In my paintings, graphics, sculptures, and other means of expression, I construct my own mythology, reflecting my views, aesthetics, and personal experiences. In my work, I reinterpret the legacy of the old masters in terms of technique, as well as the two-dimensionality of Eastern stylistic representation, where the contemplative mode of presentation is based on a deep philosophical perception of the flow of life, an understanding of the inexorable passage of time, and the mutability of the world. Through my works, I encourage contemplation of how we perceive and interpret the surrounding reality and seek to elicit an emotional response, prompting reflection on one's own perceptions of the world. My works advocate for authenticity towards oneself, where individuals integrate with nature as a part of it, without seeking domination and selfish privatization. It is through connection that we find the main value of existence – freedom. My goal is to create the illusion of illusiveness to show that our world is never static and unequivocal for even a moment. I want viewers to question global existential values and start searching for their own answers to them
