About The Artwork
Acrylic painting on wood. It depicts an image of a woman-insect, quite figurative, but at the same time - abstract, with decorative elements in soft, delicate colors. Like almost all of Mara's works, this one also carries a touch of irony - both in the image and in the title of the work. Mara often plays with words. The frame of the painting is an inseparable part of the work and is the frame of an old wooden window, painted in petrol blue.
