El pequeño teatro Painting

In this painting, we can see several girls playing in an abstract environment. The girls, although they seem to play in a circle, did not establish a clear relationship between them. Don't look at the viewer either. The pictorial treatment, despite being realistic, does not fully specify the scene, it seems that the figures are about to appear or beginning to disappear. As viewers we cannot easily know what is happening... is it the same person at different times? Is it the representation of a dream? of a memory? I did not want to represent a specific moment. Through oil painting I wanted to capture the ephemeral beauty of childhood, a reminder of the freedom and charm of the first years of life. The contemplation of "The Little Theater" can take us back to those simple and happy times. En "El pequeño teatro" vemos a varias niñas jugando en un entorno abstracto. Las niñas, aunque parecen jugar al corro, no establecen una clara relación entre ellas. Tampoco miran al espectador. Su tratamiento pictórico, a pesar de ser realista, no termina de concretar la escena, pareciera que las figuras están a punto de aparecer o empezando a desaparecer. Como espectadores no podemos leer con facilidad lo que está ocurriendo... ¿es la misma persona en momentos diferentes? ¿Es la representación de un sueño? ¿de un recuerdo? No he querido representar un momento concreto. Mediante el óleo he querido plasmar la belleza efímera de la infancia, un recordatorio de la libertad y encanto de los primeros años de vida. La contemplación de "El pequeño teatro" nos puede trasladar a aquellos tiempos, sencillos y felices.
