About The Artwork
My inspiration for painting this work is my memory of my great grandparents' farm. The great grandfather sold fresh produce to the local farmer's market. I remember as a young girl picking fresh vegetables directly off the farm and picking pecans from the many groves of pecan trees. My father grew small gardens in our yard and my brother and I could easily pick fresh tomatoes, cucumbers, or red peppers.
