I studied painting at Grays School of Art. During this time I won several awards including the Royal Scottish Academy, Walters Maclaine medal. After art college I was drawn to the West Coast of Scotland. For over 25 years I painted and sculpted in the Outer Hebrides. The rugged beauty of this landscape and its wildlife has been a pivotal influence on my work. I've been invited to take part in several high profile exhibitions representing Scottish art. My work has been shown in major galleries including the Gallery of Modern Art - Glasgow, Talbot Rice, Smithsonian Institute USA, and across Canada.
