About The Artwork

Painting: mixed media on Canvas. Inspired by a very special mediterranean sea... Abstract painting, spring, summer, acrylic on canvas, 100 x 150 cm; no framing required. Highly pigmented acrylic colors, varnished satin, including UV- protection. My artworks will be shipped in a tube. The abstract painting I am contemplating evokes an aquarium and a waterfall, two elements that the artist has masterfully merged. The organic and fluid forms of the painting seem to float freely in space, creating a sensation of movement and fluidity. The colors used remind of the ocean's color palette, with shades of blue, green, and turquoise, giving the impression of being immersed in an underwater world. The artist has also created a sense of depth, as if the waterfall is cascading into the aquarium, creating a striking visual effect. The flowing water is represented very realistically, with light and shadow effects that further accentuate the painting's depth. Observing this artwork, I feel transported into a fascinating aquatic world, where nature is omnipresent and soothing. It is a true tribute to the beauty of nature, to underwater life, and to the harmony it can offer us if we take the time to observe it.
