About The Artwork

With this game of light you will feel deconnected from the real world as the light captures every movement on the canvas. For a split second, your thoughts will stop and you will only focus on the artwork, getting transported to wherever your mind tells you to. In every different light, this work will bring you to other places. It will trigger your imagination at every moment of the day. Thanks to the monochromed whites, you will never get bored.

As a child, Charlotte always found a way to express her creative needs. When growing up, she completely lost the affinity with her creativity as she was studying hard to get a law degree. Suppressing her artistic skills for many years, it wasn't until she was 30 and pregnant of her eldest that she felt the urge to create again. It was as if the hormones had disbalanced her brains to unrevel the basic needs that had been in sleeping mode for so long. With little time at hand, she started her journey of discovering different techniques, materials and mediums. Every time, she reverted to her love of minimalistic designs, to art that pleases the eye. Inspired by scandinavian and japanese minimalism, combined with the love of ceramic sculpting, she tried to solve her lack of time (two kids in the meantime) by finding a way to create 3D art without having a kiln at home. This is how her games of light saw the light. And finally, she wasn't afraid anymore to show it to the world.
