About The Artwork

Ganesha, God of Luck, Goodness and Destroyer of Problems. He is also worshiped as the God of wisdom, wealth, health, celibacy, fertility and happiness. There are many stories presented in Hindu mythology that explain how Ganesha got his elephant head. Often the origin of this particular attribute can be found in the same legends that tell of its birth. How Ganesha got the head of an elephant The main legend has it that Ganesha was instructed by his mother to guard the entrance to her bath and not let anyone in while she was cleaning. Shiva, who was meditating far away, suddenly came home and wished to see Parvati. When Ganesha stood in his way, Shiva beheaded the boy in a fit of rage. Parvati heard a noise and went to see what was happening. Seeing that her son was killed by her husband, Parvati was inconsolable. To calm his wife, Shiva promised to restore Ganesha to life. Unfortunately, the head was thrown back so far that it could not be found. The popular conclusion is that Shiva was advised to take the head of the first living being he found sleeping, with his head turned to the north. The first creature that God encountered while in this position was an elephant, and therefore its head was taken. Ganesha symbolism and meaning Ganesha's head symbolizes Atman or soul, which is the highest reality of human existence, and his human body means Maya or the earthly existence of people. The elephant's head signifies wisdom and its trunk represents Om, the sound symbol of cosmic reality. In his upper right hand, Ganesh holds a hand that helps him move humanity forward along the eternal path and remove obstacles from it. The noose in Ganesh's left hand is a soft tool for capturing all difficulties. ---- On this site, I decided to post some of my works that have been sold long ago or recently. But the theme and color schemes are liked by several people and they order me a free author's repetition. All the paintings that I no longer have (sold), at your request, I try to repeat as accurately as possible - a free copy is obtained (not an exact copy). It is interesting for me, as an author, and for you, as a collector, to have an exclusive painting. To do this, I post my contacts:
