Gateway N108 Painting

I was in the middle of nowhere in Poland, escaped my home in Irpin. This is the first thing I painted since the war started. It took me a while, around two months to start creating something again. And I immediately felt better. I found black paper in a small Poland mountain village. And a white gouache for children. It was hard to begin. But my friend insisted that I should start painting again. I found one of my sketches, which I saw in a very special moment, free from anxiety and amazed by one piece of music. It really felt like a gate to another beautiful world, free from anxious thoughts. So I needed to recreate this feeling exactly at this time. To feel breathing fully again beneath a peaceful sky
