About The Artwork
This is the first painting in a series bees--using many approaches and perspectives. My aim was to create a gentle hum of movement within an open structure, and the painting evolved with many thin layers of varnish, whites, and yellows--and in the process, in and around all the circles, I found myself experiencing the meditative joy of repetition. 10% of my portion of sales of this series on bees, painting or print, goes to a local non-profit working to help the bees.
