About The Artwork
These works developed into painted card constructions, floating on perspex and rectangles of light which provide a dramatic 'colour hit', for the viewer. I have always been fascinated in viewing the city from different vantages of the metropolis and its vastness. In some cases the building is the main focal point, in others it is in a cluster or even an almost insignificant shape on the horizon. The colours used provide the link between the romance of transient glimpses and commerce by appropriating the corporate colours of the various train companies.
