Inspired by Bob Dylan's Song, Girl from North Country Fair, this mixed media, abstract, figurative, painting is light, energetic, fun. Given into the Beaty of the singers young voice about love travel, loss, this painting was inspired. In the ink acrylic painting the girl, woman, lady, stands on the edge of an icy, lake, or surface, shivering, with her suitcase nearby. She waits. She is bundled in a red coat, and red cap, with her scarf and hair blowing, in the chilly wind. She fits into the song. The landscape scene is from the north, upstate ny, the Great Lakes, the finger lakes, somewhere cold and quiet. This creation is painting on a 20 x 20 panel, there is glitter sprinkled within the surface, which has been sealed with, clear resin. The painting is framed in a hand made float frame, ready to hang. This is a fun exciting piece, for the home or residential space. Donoghue scans her work in high definition, so that the print purchaser has many choices in sizes and materials for their specific designer needs. This particular piece looses very little texture or detain in its print reproductions as the surface of the original is smooth. Donoghue paints on commission and also can alter this particular piece for individual needs. Please feel free to contact this artist to discuss interior design solutions.

PATTY DONOGHUE ART My art tends to be bright, happy, colorful, impressionistic, abstract or semi-abstract paintings. I study a theme and have the most comfort using a loose free style in my art. As a child, I dreamed of being an artist and as a teenager my art became a therapeutic outlet that allowed my continued optimistic focus and success, during extreme trying times, relocation and family separations. To me, painting, and creating has a therapeutic value. This strong belief, led to a successful career as an Occupational Therapist and healthcare administrator. Today my full focus is on what has always been in my soul, and I lead a full time art business career. I teach painting as a stress, therapeutic, tool. My art has been shown in multiple juried shows, and it has purchased internationally, It has promoted non-profit organizations and fundraising effort.
